Hari ini gw lagi merenung ttg suatu hal:
2 Kor 13:5
Ujilah dirimu sendiri, apakah kamu tetap tegak dalam iman. Selidikilah dirimu! Apakah kamu tidak yakin akan dirimu, bahwa Kristus Yesus ada di dalam diri kamu? Sebab jika demikian, kamu tidak tahan uji.
Re-examine ourself daily,
Saat ini gw lagi berfikir apa gw berani menguji diri sendiri dan jujur sama hasilnya, apa gw berani diuji orang lain lewat perbuatan gw. Apa gw berani diuji sm 'Yang Diatas' tentang iman gw, tentang kasih gw kepada Allah dan kepada sesama.
Yah, banyak hal yang gw masih belom mengerti di dunia ini, apa gw berani terima kalo ternyata pemahaman yg selama ini gw pegang salah dan mulai dari awal menerima sesuatu yg baru (kalo itu ternyata mmg yg benar) dan merubah segala sesuatu yg bergantung pada pemahaman yang lama. Pasti sulit yah. pasti sakit.
Well, gw mesti berani - buka segala kemungkinan - dengan begitu gw ga bias dalam menilai sesuatu. Karena gw yakin, Tuhan ga mau iman kita buta.
Tuhan mau kita buka mata selebar lebarnya dan tetap memilih Dia, dengan begitu kita mempergunakan hakikat 'free will' yang memang suatu privilege yang udh di design untuk manusia.
Dan satu hal yang gw percaya, kalo kebenaran bisa membela dirinya sendiri, karena memang ya dia udh benar.
Kalo kita percaya bahwa Yesus adalah Tuhan dan juruselamat kita, dan kita rindu mengenal dia lebih lagi, kita akan dibawa terus naik dan bukan turun (dalam mengenal kebenaran) meskipun sekarang kt masih jauh dari sempurna.
Bukannya maksud gw ngejar kesempurnaan gmn, karena sempurna itu relatif, maksudnya jadi full seperti yg Tuhan mau, yang tak bercacat. wah bayangin itu aja udh susah banget. tapi memang tuntutan kita jadi serupa seperti Kristus kan?
mikirin itu lagi, jadi kepikiran satu quote:
" in unperfectness, the perfectness shows "
ditengah2 ketidak sempurnaan manusia, dangan segala cacat celanya,
saat itulah kasih Allah yang sempurna teruji dan nyata. Kasih yang tak bersyarat, hummph ... makin dipikir makin kagum.
Mazmur 26:2
Ujilah aku, ya Tuhan, dan cobalah aku; selidikilah batinku dan hatiku.
Hummph, kedengerannya sih serem yah, tapi mungkin ini saatnya kita berani melangkah.
Challenge ourself to be better day by day.
To move on from our level.
Untuk belajar mengerti bersama, bertumbuh bersama, belajar untuk tidak gampang menghakimi saudara kita tapi bersama-sama menanggung beban, menasihati dan mengasihi...tanpa syarat.
Sudahkah kita berani berkata, 'Ujilah aku'

Berjaga jagalah!
Yeah be back after sometime...^^
I hope we gonna keep it touch more often by using this facility, yeah..hoho
anyway, when r u guys leaving for holiday ? I'll be going from 5 to 11 January 2009.
So, gonna be here for desember. anyone?
Cizi, gmn kabarnya ... lama ga ketemu... lama banget. ^^
Mau sharing renungan hari ini nih.
Markus 13:33
"hati hatilah dan berjaga-jagalah! Sebab kamu tidak tahu bilamanakah waktunya tiba"
Pernah di suatu tempat dijalankan sistem ronda malam, dari tengah malam sampai jam 4, jadi penduduk digilir buat menjaga keamanan lingkungan. Eh suatu hari terjadi pencurian sepeda motor pada jam 4.30 am. Nah sejak itu diberlakukan ronda malam dari tengah malam dan untuk keamanan rumah masing masing penduduk diminta terjaga di pagi harinya.
Orang kristen tidak boleh tertidur rohaninya.
Yang tertidur rohaninya,
adalah orang Kristen yang tidak ke gereja, tidak berdoa, tdk membaca firman, tidak melayani Tuhan dan sesama.
Ada juga yg tidak senantiasa terjaga rohaninya,
adalah orang yang merasa cukup hanya dengan berbakti di gereja selama 2 jam dalam seminggu.
Ada juga yg merasa terjaga padahal dia sedang tertidur,
orang yang melakukan kegiatan keKristenannya hanya sebagai rutinitas belaka tanpa menghayati maknanya. ketika ada pilihan lain yg menguntungkan mrk akan lari kesana.
Jgn buang waktu melakukan hal hal yang bertentangan dengan kehendakNya, pakai setiap waktu untuk melakukan segala sesuatu seperti untuk Tuhan dan bukan untuk manusia.
Kol 3:23
"Apa pun juga yang kamu perbuat, perbuatlah dengan segenap hatimu seperti untuk Tuhan dan bukan untuk manusia"
Maksudnya termasuk, layanilah sesama seperti untuk Tuhan.

Under His Shadow

Do you delight in being under the Lord’s shadow? Or are you sometimes too busy. I know I am. Yet when I come and sit in that place and I don’t rush away, I wonder why on earth I didn’t come sooner because the fruit is so sweet.
The Lord always gives me something fresh when I sit there. His mercies are new every morning and He makes ‘all things new’. He gives me that childlike awe of discovering something beautiful that He’s revealing in my life or in His Word.
well,, yea.. it's been a hard day... (more to a hard month, actually)

“Mengembang” – yesaya 54:3
Sebab engkau akan mengembang ke kanan dan ke kiri, …
Syarat untuk kita bs dikembangkan yaitu kita setia pada hal2 yang kecil.
Matius 25: 21
Kalau kita setia pada perkara kecil, Ia akan memberikan tanggung jawab pada perkara yang lebih besar.
Illustrasi:
Ada pelajar yg bercita-cita mau jadi pebisnis besar suatu hari nanti, tapi dalam sehari hari-nya dia ga telaten beresin tugas tugas sendiri, suka nyontek, kalau hutang sama temen ga bayar. Gimana mau cari pebisnis besar yang dipercaya orang kalau teman -temannya sendiri aja yang bisa jadi calon partner dimasa mendatang ga percaya karena
dari dulu dia ga jujur, ga bayar hutang dan ga ada usaha buat ngerjain tugas.
Bagaimana ciri2 orang yang dikembangkan Tuhan?
Dimulai dari diri sendiri.
Buat Tuhan, mempromosikan kita naek itu gampang, cuma Tuhan mau mengembangkan karakter kita dulu supaya kita bener bener siap dan layak menerima kepercayaan yang lebih besar, dengan begitu kita menjadi teladan buat orang lain.
Tdk penting seberapa besar gunung yang ingin ditaklukan tapi seberapa besar kapasitas yang dikembangkan Tuhan dalam diri kita.
Satu lagi, perbesar kapasitas!
Tuhan mau kasih kita berkatNya, bagian kita adalah menyiapkan tempat untuk menampung. Seberapa besar kapasitas ruang yang kita siapkan, sebesar itulah yang akan dipenuhi Tuhan.
Menembus keterbatasan.
Bangsa Israel sdh keluar dari Mesir tapi Mesir tdk pernah pergi dari hati bangsa Israel. Mereka menggerutu, bersungut-sungut, kuatir Tuhan tdk sanggup memelihara hidup mereka.
Dlm bahasa ibrani , mesir artinya ”limitation”
Overcome limitation!
Ironisnya, satu2nya yang membatasi Tuhan adalah diri kita sendiri, seringkali kita seperti bangsa Israel, ragu mentaati perintahNya, itulah yang menghalangi kita menerima berkatNya.
Apa hasilnya? perjalanan ke tanah perjanjian yg seharusnya bs ditempuh beberapa hari harus perlu waktu 40 tahun, dan Tuhan membersihkan generasi yang dalam hatinya terdapat Mesir. Generasi setelah itulah yang bisa masuk dan menerima tanah perjanjian.
Ke kanan dan ke kiri.
Sebab engkau AKAN mengembang ke kanan dan ke kiri,
Kalau Tuhan sudah berkata AKAN, tidak ada seorangpun yang sanggup menaruh kata TIDAK didepannya. Kalau Tuhan sudah berjanji, Ia pasti menepati.
Ke kanan dan ke kiri ???
Amsal 3:16
”Umur panjang ada di tangan kanannya, di tangan kirinya kekayaan dan kehormatan”
Jika karakter kita sudah dikembangkan, kita percaya akan janjiNya, maka Tuhan akan memberkati kita dengan umur panjang, kekayaan dan hormat dan kita akan menjadi berkat dimanapun dan kapanpun kita berada.
HIDUPLAH DALAM SETIAP KEPUTUSAN YANG MEMULIAKAN NAMA TUHAN.

what is ur future?
God Has Seen Your Future And It Is Good!
Isaiah 54:2
2“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
At the end of 2004, during one of our services, the Lord told our church this: “I your God have gone ahead of you and I have already been to your future. I have seen it. And I declare that it is good.”
Although this word was given through me to our church, I believe that it is not only for our church, but also for every member of the body of Christ.
I tell you, when God declares your future good, it will be good! It will be filled with many wonderfully good days!
So what do you do when the Lord tells you that you are going to have a good future loaded with His blessings? You prepare for it! In other words, before the blessings come, before the increase comes, He wants you to enlarge the place of your tent and stretch forth the curtains of your dwellings.
For example, if you are believing God for a child, start reading books on babies and preparing the baby’s room. In fact, prepare to have more than one child. Start looking for a bigger place for your family for God says, “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.” Get ready for expansion!
My friend, God wants you to get ready, and expect such favor and increase in the days ahead that “you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited”. (Isaiah 54:3)
Because God has declared your future good, know that you stand on favor ground today. Expect good things to happen to you. Expect to see the favor of God on you and your family. Expect the blessings and increase of the Lord. Expect many good days to show up in your life!

Malachi 3:17
They will be mine, says the Lord almighty, in the day i make up my jewel.
God's people are his jewel. they're jewel for their sparkling quality and holiness, shine and sparkle in God's eyes.
The godly are precious for their scarcity. The diamond are not common, so does godly people. Few true christians among the millions that tell that believe in God, the godly are jewel for their price.
The diamond are precious for their adorning quality. Jewel adorns those who wear them. Godly people adorn the world, honors the gospel.
While hypocrites eclipse through religion and make it badly spoken of, the saints as jewel render it lustrious by their sanctity
Bless God that he has paid the price to change you from the lumps of dirt and sin , He has made you into his jewel.

Renungan 13 oct 2008
Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
Gw suka banget sama ayat yg dikasih hari ini sm blog kt...
terkadang kita give thanks sm Tuhan kalo cuma kita berkecukupan, kalo semuanya ga ada masalah.dan kalo ada masalah, kita mulai bersungut sungut dan meragukan kasih Tuhan.
Tapi Habakuk menekankan disini walaupun segala sesuatu tidak berjalan dengan baik, ia tetap setia rejoice in the Lord, mengucap syukur karena ia sudah menjadi Tuhan kita.
Bagaimana dengan kita ....

White lie vs Hard Truth

RIGHT TRUTH
not every truth is mine to tell.
A truth shared in confidence or a truth that would needlessly hurt anyone is not mine to tell.
RIGHT PERSON
Not every person has a right to know the truth.
Some willfully distort what they hear; some use facts to attack the life of larger; some have hard and harsh tongues.
RIGHT TIME
Not everytime is appropriate for the truth.
Some seasons call for tactful silence.
RIGHT WAY
Not every way of communication honors the truth.
Sometimes the manner in which something get conveyed corrode reality.
RIGHT REASON
Some motives for telling the truth are simply too destructive to be clothed in respectability.
When it's the wrong truth or wrong person or wrong time or wrong way or wrong reason,
A white lie may have more integrity than an insensitive honesty.
But when white lie begin to turn slightly shade of gray, when does it cross over and become immoral?
A question need to be asked : does this lie protect the other person or myself.
Carlyle Marney said:
you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you flinch before it makes you free.
Less clearly we see the reality, more our minds befuddle by misconceptions and illusion, less able to determine correct action and make wise decisions.
Our view of reality is a map to negotiate the terrain of life.
By speaking the truth, we enable one another to chart accurate maps, to get from here to wherever we're going with integrity and grater wholeness.
Two Guidelines of telling truth:
1. Truth must be relevant to the situation.
2. Truth must be used to build up and not to tear down.
Dedicate ourself to speaking the truth with pertinent and LOVE even when it's difficult. By doing this we'd help one another chart maps that correspond to reality and we just might even have an easier time finding our way in life.

A Walk In The Park
Read: Ephesians 5:1-14
There's a lawyer from down the street who's always in a hurry, an elderly man who trudges slowly by, a woman who strides with purposeful steps. Each has a characteristic gait.
The Bible instructs us: "Walk in love, as Christ also has loved us" -Eph 5:2- and "Walk in wisdom: -Col 4:5-. I ask myself, "Does my walk reflect God's love and wisdom?" Am I "pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy"? -James 3:17-. Do I have love, joy, and peace? Am I tranquil and strong? What do others see as I walk by?
George MacDonald said, :If you who set yourselves to (theorize about) Christianity had set yourselves instead to do the will of the Master, the one object for which the gospel was preached to you, how different would be the condition of that part of the world with which you come into contact." How different indeed!
Is your life making difference in the lives around you? Do others see Jesus in what you say and do?
Walk in love, as Christ also has loved us. -Ephesians 5:2

Renungan Malam....
Hallo semuanya lagi..ini saya lagi..hehehe
